Kaos City is a click-to-earn, on-chain game built on the Base network where you play with digital characters, battle enemies and earn the in-game currency KAO. Inside the platform you can convert between USDC and KAO, use KAO to grow your team, and – if you wish – swap your KAO back to USDC through our Vault.
This whitepaper gives a high-level overview of how Kaos City works, how players progress, and how the in-game economy is designed.
What you can do in Kaos City
Build your squad Acquire character eggs, open them to reveal a random rarity, and assemble a roster of up to four fighters.
Battle and earn KAO Spend stamina to fight enemies with different win rates (90%, 70%, 50% or 30%) and receive KAO when you win.
Progress and upgrade Heal damaged characters, use the breeding system to combine three characters of the same rarity into a higher-rarity one, and push your team to higher earning potential.
Enter and exit through USDC Deposit USDC on Base into the Kaos City Vault, play using KAO inside the game, and when you decide to withdraw, convert KAO back to USDC with a platform fee on withdrawals.
